Today I am having brunch with my mentor teacher!! I am so excited! I have not seen her all summer! I am then headed up to school to show her my room! :o) woo hoo

Andy and I had date night at Carrabbas yesterday evening followed by some book shopping. Sophie Kinsella has a new book out!!! I had no idea until I walked into Barnes and Noble. Hooray! ... Andy bought it for me :o) I also got Julie and Julia, which I want to read before I see the movie... so I have to read this one first!!

Today was a very long day at training...

Today's agenda was filled with insurance business, meeting our mentors and learning about all the different web-sites we will be using.... needless to say there were lots of log-in names and passwords!.... but I won another door prize! So, I am super excited!! :o)

We also got a really cool book called The 1st Year Survival Guide for teachers! I'm really excited to read it! It is so blunt and to the point.. haha

This is for you, Betty Wu!!

My dear friend and team mate, Betty, has inspired me to write a second entry on my blogger because I want to be cool like her! :o) However, I only know about three people on this site... so I doubt that anyone will read it... but hey, that's okay!

I started this lovely blog one year ago yesterday! I am still awaiting fall and Halloween (my favorite season and holiday) just like last year!! I have not been into Hobby Lobby this summer because I knew that I would want to buy EVERY seasonal decoration in sight! I'm moving into my first apartment on October 2, so I have put myself on a budget to save money! But as soon as Hobby Lobby has their 50% off sale on "seasonals", I am so there.

Other than anxiously awaiting fall and cooler weather... wedding planning, classroom decorating and the butterflies in my stomach for the first day of school are in full swing!

awaiting fall...

Lets try this again... since i deleted the entry i just tried to post!

My summer has been quite...long and boring honestly. So, i have resorted to creating this oh-so-lovely blog. Not that i have anything exciting to write about, but hey...i really need something to do here.

I am very ready for school to start and for my FAVORITE season, fall!! I love the change of weather (hopefully), the fun decorations (from hobby lobby of course) and my favorite holiday, Halloween!!

Although I could write about the countless nothings that i have done today, which include trying to figure out the new UTA (school) email system, i really must get back to my laundry. I've been sitting at my computer much too long.

-can't wait for next week and vacation!! (more on that later)
